Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo who is from Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and teaches drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories as being at play rehearsals with her mother. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials while she was a young child. She received a Bachelor's of Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting profession in November 1999. Later, she spent the decade that followed, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met during an Actorsworkshop held in Los Angeles. In 2009, they were married civilly in December 2009. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows at a Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on May 13, in 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009 she landed the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming of the final season episode. She announced the pregnancy to the fans during the Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th, 2013 that the show would return to production. Fourth season began on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared that they were the top TV Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to an enormous online following on social media.
