Zulay Shenao is a Colombian born. She is an American-born Colombian actor. Her most famous role has been as Esperanza in The Oprah Winfrey Network series 'If loving you is wrong'. Zulay Henao is also famous for acting in several films such as 'Illegal Tender', 'Takers as well as "Boy Wonder" and "True The Memoirs Of An International Assassin'. In 2004, she and her family relocated to USA from Medellin Antioquia located in Colombia. She was a student at Methodist College at Fort Bragg in North Carolina while serving three years for the U.S. Army. She then pursued an acting course at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. She also worked odd jobs, and started her professional career in the Hollywood scene. Since 2014, she's been in a relationship with American Model Joel Rush. Her previous relationship was to actors Terrace Howard. Henao puts her family as her first priority.
